How to Upgrade the Front Suspension on Your Tuttio Soleil 01
Why Upgrade Your Tuttio Soleil 01 Front Suspension?
The Tuttio Soleil 01 is a capable electric bike right out of the box, but if you're pushing it hard — whether on trails, tight turns, or rough pavement — the stock front suspension is often the first thing riders want to improve. A better fork means more control, less fatigue, and a noticeably more confident ride.
At K. Mods, we specialize in Tuttio Soleil 01 parts and have helped dozens of riders dial in their setups. Here's what you need to know before you upgrade.
What to Look for in a Replacement Fork
Before buying, confirm these specs match your Soleil 01:
- Steerer tube diameter: Measure your headtube to confirm 1-1/8" threadless (standard on most Soleil 01 builds)
- Axle-to-crown length: Stay close to stock to avoid changing your geometry dramatically
- Travel: 80–100mm is a sweet spot for mixed-terrain riding
- Dropout spacing: Confirm 100mm QR or thru-axle depending on your wheel

Step-by-Step: Swapping the Front Fork
- Gather your tools: You'll need a headset press (or a shop to press it), hex keys (4mm, 5mm, 6mm), a torque wrench, and cable cutters if your brake line needs trimming.
- Remove the front wheel: Release the brake, loosen the axle, and set the wheel aside.
- Loosen the stem and top cap: Back off the stem bolts and the top cap bolt. The fork will drop free once the stem is loose.
- Remove the old fork: Slide it down and out of the headtube. Keep your headset bearings organized — upper and lower cups, crown race, and seals.
- Transfer the crown race: If your new fork doesn't include one, carefully tap the old crown race onto the new fork's crown using a crown race setter or a careful tap with a block of wood.
- Install the new fork: Slide it up through the headtube, stack your bearings and spacers, reinstall the stem, and snug the top cap until there's zero play in the headset — then torque the stem bolts to spec (typically 5–6 Nm).
- Reinstall the wheel and brake: Torque the axle, reconnect the brake, and check alignment before riding.
